Designer Series Paper: Paisley Petals and Strength & Hope!

Here are two more cards featuring Stampin' Up!'s Paisley Petals Designer Series Paper collection and the Strength & Hope stamp set (Summer Mini, pg.27).

 

The first card was made using:

The second card uses:

Card Stock:  Very Vanilla, Elegant Eggplant, Peach Parfait

Accessories:  Paisley Petals DSP, Stampin' Write Markers, Lace Border Punch (pg.211), 1-1/4" Cirlce Punch (pg.212), 1-3/8" Circle Punch (pg.212), 1/4" Pumpkin Pie Grosgrain Ribbon (pg.195), Stampin' Dimensionals (pg.206) and my sneak peek product... again!  (Can you tell that I love this product... and know that you will too!)

Designer Series Paper: Paisley Petals and Bravo Burgundy!

Here are two more projects using Paisley Petals Designer Series Paper.  This time I have chosen to work with Stampin' Up!'s Bravo Burgundy card stock.

The card is quick & easy to make with very little stamping since the floral design is part of the patterned paper.  The saying is from Sincere Salutations (pg.160) and is stamped in Bravo Burgundy.  I've added highlights to the printed flower using the same sneak peek product shown here.  (More about this next month!)

The box was made from Bravo Burgundy using the Big Shot Box #2 Die (pg.221).  I also used:

Inks: Bravo Burgundy

Card Stock:  Bravo Burgundy, Very Vanilla, Whisper White

Accessories:  Paisley Petals DSP (pg.184-185), Decorative Label Punch (pg.209), 1/4" Very Vanilla Grosgrain Ribbon (pg.195), Stampin' Dimensionals (pg.206)

Who wouldn't want to receive a gift in one of these!?!

Designer Series Paper: Paisley Petals

It's time to move on to another one Stampin' Up!'s wonderful collections of Designer Series Papers.  Today and tomorrow will be projects using the Paisley Petals collection... and the Strength & Hope stamp set that will retire on August 31, 2011.  Be sure to check both of these on-going promotions while you still have time to take advantage of them!  (Links to both promotions can be found in the lefthand sidebar... under "Promo".)

I created today's card for a challenge on Sudsol... a Yahoo Group that is exclusively for Stampin' Up! demonstrators. To create the card you will need:

Stamp Sets:  Strength & Hope (Summer Mini, pg27)

Inks:  Tangerine Tango, Always Artichoke

Card Stock:  Whisper White, Always Artichoke

Accessories: Paisley Petals DSP (pg.184-185), Decorative Label Punch (pg.209), 1/2" Peach Parfait Stitched Poly Ribbon (pg.194), Stampin' Dimensionals (pg.206).

The candle has been decorated with a strip of Paisley Petals DSP mounted on Old Olive card stock.  The layered flower made using shapes from Stampin' Up!'s Boho Blossom Punch (pg.210) covers the overlap giving it a more professional appearance.  I love how our scrap pieces can make something simple look so elegant! :O)

In addition to the previously mentioned products you will need:
