Here is another card... created from my scrap stash!
Products used are:
Stamp Set: Cheep Talk stamp set (page 90)
Card Stock: Very Vanilla, Ballet Blue and assorted card stock scraps.
Inks: Classic Ballet Blue, Classic NIght of Navy, Classic More Mustard, Classic Riding Hood Red, Classic Old Olive, Jet Black StazOn
Accessories: Only Orange Stampin' Write Marker, Night of Navy 1/4" grosgrain ribbon (page 179), Scallop Edge punch (page 184-185), and Chit Chat Rub-Ons (page 172-173)
Notice that all the strips are uniform in size. Stampin' Up! lovers like me are bound to have scraps just like these in their stash pile.... or at least we create them while working on our many cards and/or scrapbook pages. They are created during the use of two of Stampin' Up!'s wonderful accessories. Leave a guess in the comment section for a chance to get a notepad similar to the one pictured below. (This one is going to one of my readers who has been long overdue some blog candy that I offered! Sorry for the delay Peggy! )
Stamp Sets: Cheep Talk, Simply Said (page 52)
Card Stock: Whisper White and Riding Hood Red
Inks: Classic Old Olive, Classic Riding Hood Red, Classic Pacific Point and Jet Black StazOn
Accessories: Good Morning Sunshine DSP, Summer Sun Stampin' Write Marker, Scallop Edge punch, Stampin Dimensionals and Real Red 1/2" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon (page 178).
Finally, as promised in my posting from March 2, 2009, my favorite of the four previous Scrap Quilt cards is the 3rd one! Although most of you didn't leave a comment, several of you sent me emails to let me know which was your favorite. Susana, since you took the time to leave a comment card #2 is yours! You can pick it up the next time you stop by.
Happy Stamping~
Mia

Hi Mia,
What a cute card and great way to use those scraps. I have drawer fulls in each colour category and now you've given me this wonderful idea to use some of them up. Did you use the Word Window punch to get them all the same size?

This is a fantastic idea to use up scraps!! Up until 2 years ago, I had been a quilter for 25 years. Beautiful results! Love, love, love the bright colors! TFS!

Hey Maria, I guess it pays to read my e-mail at 5am. You can get the strips from using either the scallop edge punch or the new eyelet edge punch. Cute card. I bought this set recently and LOVE it!

Jill
